Arène semaine 36 : tous les modèles savent écrire

Les cinq modèles ont écrit FERMÉ LE LUNDI correctement, accent compris. Il y a deux ans, c'était toute l'histoire ; cette semaine, c'est le résultat le moins intéressant du tableau.

À cette longueur, le texte est un problème résolu. Tous les modèles du plateau — y compris celui à deux crédits — ont mis les bonnes lettres sur l'ardoise avec l'accent au bon endroit. L'épreuve de texte a donc cessé de séparer les modèles et ne sépare plus que les époques. Nous la gardons dans la suite parce que le jour où elle recommencera à échouer vaudra la peine d'être vu, mais la prochaine révision demandera une chaîne plus longue.

Ce qui les a séparés, c'est la moitié ennuyeuse de la génération d'images : les mains, le tissu et le comptage. Nano Banana 2 et GPT Image 2 ont pris deux duels chacun et sont arrivés en tête par deux chemins opposés — Nano Banana 2 rend les matières que les autres approximent, et GPT Image 2 fait ce qu'on lui dit sans broder. GPT Image 2 détient le score le plus élevé à cause de l'ordre dans lequel les résultats sont tombés, pas d'un meilleur bilan : douze points d'écart, ce n'est pas un verdict, et une deuxième semaine en dira plus que celle-ci.

La ligne de coût est ce qu'il faut retenir. L'épreuve de texte a coûté 11 crédits sur GPT Image 2 et 2 sur Grok Imagine, et les deux ont eu juste. Payer cinq fois plus pour une ardoise de café n'a rien acheté cette semaine.

Le verdict

Tous les modèles ont écrit FERMÉ LE LUNDI correctement, accent compris. Nano Banana 2 l'emporte grâce à l'enseigne que personne n'avait demandée : il a posé CAFÉ DU COIN · BRASSERIE sur le store derrière, correctement orthographié lui aussi, ce qui est la version difficile du même exercice. GPT Image 2 a tracé la plus belle ligne unique, cinq fois plus cher.

Les mains, surtout. Si les doigts sont dénombrables et s'ils appartiennent bien aux mains sur lesquelles ils sont.

Le verdict

GPT Image 2 est le seul à avoir mis les deux mains entièrement dans le cadre avec des doigts dénombrables. Nano Banana 2 a fait l'image la plus photographique en cachant une main derrière l'argile, ce qui trompe l'œil et esquive la question posée par le prompt. FLUX.2 Pro a fusionné les deux mains à leur point de contact.

La peau, le tissu et la lumière — et surtout si une matière nommée est rendue comme cette matière plutôt que comme une approximation.

Le verdict

Le prompt nomme un pull à torsades, et la torsade est justement ce que quatre de ces cinq modèles approximent. Seul Nano Banana 2 rend la véritable structure du tricot, avec en prime un nom de bateau lisible derrière. GPT Image 2 a le meilleur visage du lot et le pull le plus vague.

Fidélité au prompt

Le comptage et les relations spatiales. Si « exactement trois » fait bien trois, et si la gauche et la droite sont là où on les a demandées.

GPT Image 2 respecte les quatre contraintes — trois bouteilles, la plus haute à gauche, la plus petite au milieu, le citron devant celle de droite — sans rien ajouter qu'on n'ait demandé. Nano Banana 2 les respecte aussi mais invente des étiquettes de marque. FLUX.2 Pro a produit quatre bouteilles pour un prompt qui dit exactement trois.

Le coût est ce que le portefeuille a réellement facturé pour cette génération, pas une estimation. Il n'y a délibérément pas de colonne de vitesse : nos enregistrements de génération portent une heure de départ et aucune heure de fin, donc toute durée affichée mesurerait notre propre boucle d'attente plutôt que le modèle.
