When to reach for it

Every other image model here returns a raster. This one returns an SVG: real paths you can open in a vector editor, recolour, and scale without limit. That single property is the reason to choose it, and no amount of prompting will get the same result out of a raster model followed by an auto-trace.

It is built for the work vectors are for: logos and marks, icon sets, flat illustration, diagrams, anything that has to hold up at both 16 pixels and a billboard. Prompts want to describe shape and flat colour rather than light and texture. Asking it for photographic depth produces a vector approximation of a photograph, which is nobody's deliverable.

No reference images, so a mark cannot be derived from an existing one; you are describing what you want in words. Nine aspect ratios, 1024×1024 detail, 3.5 credits. The Pro variant renders at 2048×2048 for 21 credits, which buys genuinely more path detail and is worth it only for finals.
