Runway Gen-4.5

Runway's clip model, and the simplest to reason about in the catalog: one resolution, two durations, one flat per-second price with no rules attached. A five-second take is 50 credits and a ten-second one is 100, regardless of what you feed it or what settings you choose. Nothing else here prices that predictably.

1080p is the only tier, which cuts both ways. There is no cheap 480p rung to compose on, so every attempt costs the full amount, but there is also no chance of delivering a take at the wrong resolution.

Six aspect ratios, including 21:9, which is unusual among clip models and useful for anything cinematic. No reference images and no video input, so it is prompt-only and cannot hold a subject across shots. Reach for it when the shot is original, the length is five or ten seconds, and you want 1080p without thinking about a pricing table.
