When to reach for it
The middle rung of the FLUX.2 family. Same nine aspect ratios, same seven references, same four-step resolution ladder. The difference is the model underneath, which is tuned for more control over the render rather than more raw capability.
Its ladder is the steepest in the family: 2.5 credits at 0.5 MP up to 20 at 4 MP. That top rung is one of the most expensive single images in the catalog, so it is worth being sure the deliverable needs four megapixels before selecting it. For most screen work 1 MP is the honest answer and costs 5.
Reach for Flex over Pro when a render keeps coming out nearly right and you need the extra handle to close the gap; reach for Pro when you are producing volume and the per-image price is what governs. If neither is landing, the problem is more likely the prompt or the reference set than the tier, and Max is unlikely to rescue it.

- Which image model to reach for, and when
Twelve image models, from half a credit to twenty-one. What each one is for, where the resolution setting changes the price, and when the cheap tier is right.
FLUX.2 Flex is one pick in the composer.
Every model in this catalog runs from the same prompt bar, priced in the same credits. New accounts start with some to spend.
